This is a set of ready to use content either photos or illustrations available for you to purchase the rights to use them.
Digital Stock photography is the supply of photographs, which are often licensed for specific uses. It allows viewing of the final content before you are granted the rights to use them, and the content can be licensed instantly.
The advantage is, it cost lesser than assignment photography, you save on models, photographers, location, props, art direction and editing costs.
2. Define Royalty-Free.
Royalty-free (RF) refers to s copyright license where you make a one-time payment of the initial licencing fee for repeated use of the content. (No royalties is paid)
When an RF content is purchased, you do not own the copyright of the content – you have only purchased the rights to use the content from the appropriate authority or licensor (as long as the scope of use remains within the End-User License).
3. What’s the difference between Royalty-Free and Rights-Managed?
Rights Managed (RM) in the stock photo industry (sometimes called "licensed images") refers to a copyright license which, if purchased by a user, allows the one-time use of the photo as specified by the license. If the user wants to use the photo for other uses an additional license needs to be purchased.
Royalty-Free on the other hand, allows you unlimited usage - there’s no need to pay royalties after the initial purchase. This greatly reduces cost and allows greater freedom with the content licensed.
4. Can my clients use the content too?
Yes. Every content we offer comes with a standard license. You can learn more about our licensing by visiting our licensing section.
Provided that you’re using content in accordance with the various End User License Agreements.
